Transformers Pictures
If you’ve been waiting for the next Transformers movie, then you’ll enjoy this. We’ve got a sneak peek at some pictures from the movie. It’s not much, but it’s something. Certainly enough to give us a clue that we can expect major military action, giant explosions, and really mean robots.
Transformers Pictures
Much of Transformers 2 is set near the Egyptian pyramids. Several pictures showing Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox running near what appears to be an Egyptian temple have been released. Think the Decepticons actually blow the temples up? Egypt won’t be happy about that.

Most people aren’t allowed to walk or stand on the pyramids – thanks to those crazy Victorians climbing them in inappropriate clothing and plummeting to their deaths. In this case, the Transformers film crew was allowed to stand on them, or they created a very convincing film set replica. It’s hard to tell from publicity pictures, but it should be easy to detect at the movies.

Ready for more desert excitement and explosions? We have to say, sand makes for really awesome effects. We should have move movies with exploding sand. Surely Transformers isn’t the only movie with an Egyptian connection. It doesn’t even have to be Egypt. It could be Africa, Australia, heck, even the Caribbean. Maybe some exploding sand would have improved Quantum of Solace.

Now we’re back on solid land and appear to have invaded an alien ship. Do the Decepticons have a mothership? Is this the Transformers’ temple under the Egyptian temples? It’s hard to make out from the pictures, but it looks very ominous.

Various sources have produced pictures of new Transformers, but until the movie releases, we can’t guarantee that these are official Transformers pictures or renderings designed by eager fans. They could also be images of Transformers characters that were later dropped, since much of this movie was created in the CGI lab rather than filmed live. (It’s way cheaper to make a Transformer on the computer than it is to build a functioning 17-foot-tall robot that does what you tell it to.)
Watch this space for more Transformers stills as we get closer to release.
